We would like to recognize and congratulate Bro. Jalen Boney, a Spring '24 initiate, for being recognized by The League of Credit Unions and Affiliates and selected by the Filene Research Institiute to attend the Government Affairs Conference (GAC) as a "Crasher".
Bro. Boney has been selected as a 2025 Crash the GAC delegate, which comprises talented credit union professionals from across the country who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the credit union industry. The Filene Research Institute chooses one person annual from state to represent their credit union and state at the conference.
The GAC is an annual conference hosted by Americas Credit Unions to promote the positive work of the credit union movement. Credit union professionals come together annually to attend conference sessions that ultimately lead to visits to Capitol Hill where attendees meet with their respective senators and representatives to lobby for or against policies that affect the credit union industry, with this year's main concern being the federal tax exemption. Congratulations Bro. Boney, continue achieving!
